In the late 1990's, I started using a hack to juggle free 30-day trials of a popular online service. Despite the hassle it was to come up with new login credentials every 30 days, it worked well for years and saved me a ton of money. Kablamabam was one of the last usernames In a very long chain of usernames that I had used for this service.
In the early 2020's I discovered SDF Public Access Unix System. Also known as Super Dimension Fortress, they are a group that has been working "...behind the scenes and in the underground to maintain a non-commercial Internet." I understand and appreciate the philosophy and use this service to host a web page.
My Website is a space for me to record projects and blog about the things I like. It's a place for me to learn and practice coding. My goal with this is to follow the principals of smolweb and I hope that the simple look of this website be reminiscent of a time when the internet was leaner and ran better.
